Whew… well we survived another hurricane and then a strong nor’easter but it hasn’t affected the fishing! The inshore fishing has been great! The mullet run continues and the jacks have showed up in force inside the inlet! The inlet has also been holding quite a few very nice slot and bull redfish as well as some tarpon. The black drum have showed up along docks and drop offs along the ICW with quite a few nice trout mixed in.
The south end of our area has been holding some nice snook in some of the creeks and canals with quite a few small tarpon mixed in. Great places to escape on a windy day!
The nearshore fishing should start to heat up on the wrecks for Cobia as the water temp cools.
